There is no doubt Muslims are backward in terms Western education which determines the social, political and administrative status of person in Nigeria. Considering the population of English language readers in our society, writers are always tempted to write secular books.So, when Successwaves Communications set to publish the first of Crescent Series story book, The Obedient Faruq 1, various criticisms were received from all quarters, but against all odds, we took bold step in the cause of Jihad and published it on March 2005Today, thousands of the books have been sold with patronage from Muslims and Christians all over Nigeria.
The Obedient Faruq has also ushered in ten other Islamic short stories: The Obedient Faruq 2, The Greatest, King From Madrasah, The Lord's Eyes, Aliyat The Woman of Virtues, Night of The Last Party, The Cheerful Givers, Patience and Greed, The Beggars and The Vain World.
