I’m sure that nearly every published author has had the ultimate dream of having their work selected for the movies. I mean…what other great compliment or review of your work could be more positive and morale boosting than being approached by the industry elite?
Well, everyone – here is your chance to see that possibility come to light.
With the aim to deliver quality work to the film industry for consideration of transforming into film, Book Pipeline is conducting its 3rd Annual Book Pipeline Competition (2016) – deadline of which is scheduled for December 15, 2016.
This is not the time to embark upon writing, mind you – it is a quest for already completed manuscripts which have already passed the threshold of publishing (and distribution) – work that is already out in the greater market place – work that is worthy of developing into film to get the message out to an even greater audience.
Entrance fee is $75.00 – but the possibility of forwarding your work to some of the industry greats – the likes of which produced Million Dollar Baby, Pride and Prejudice, Zombies, and more – is so tempting to make it seem as if the entry fee is truly peanuts in comparison.
The following formats are welcome entry items:
- Graphic Novels and comics
- Book proposals or pitches (fiction or non-fiction)
- Short stories
Take a look at the Book Pipeline webpage, and click on the ‘submit’ button to find your path towards development and wider acknowledgement of your work!
